Sometimes referred to as oilcloth or American cloth, PVC coated fabric is a material, which is printed and then laminated. It has similar properties to vinyl and is often confused with it!
Unlike most PVC coated tablecloths available in the UK, ours have a matt finish and a soft drape effect to avoid that plastic look. The PVC coating applied is not too stiff so that the cloth hangs better. Despite this soft drape effect, these cloths are extremely hard wearing and will give many years of service. They are strong enough to cut a hole or a cross in them (without the need for edging) for a parasol.
PVC coated tablecloths are available by the roll, by the metre, or as ready made tablecloths (with hemmed edge) as squares, rectangles, ovals and rounds. We also offer a made-to-measure service - we can make the cloth to suit your exact requirements (width of roll permitting), whether you require 1 or 100.
Simply wipe clean with a damp or wet cloth. Do not use cleaning products other than washing up liquid.
